The Transylvanian Hungarian Diabetology Meeting is organized annually, usually in a location suitable for relaxation and recreation. The event has two main objectives: professional continuing education and the presentation of current developments in the field of diabetes and diabetes care, as well as the equally important nurturing of professional and friendly relationships, providing opportunities for more informal, direct discussions. It is important to highlight that the conference is not addressed exclusively to diabetologists; each year colleagues from other medical specialties are also represented.
