The 5th Transylvanian Hungarian Diabetology Meeting took place between June 20–22, 2025, in Sztána, Sălaj County, with the participation of approximately 40 healthcare professionals. Over the course of the three-day professional program, current and interdisciplinary topics were discussed, including the relationship between obesity and diabetes, new antidiabetic medications, hypoglycemia, technological innovations, as well as neuroendocrine tumors and lipodystrophies. In the spirit of a practical approach, several spontaneous discussions emerged around everyday challenges in diabetology.

Alongside the professional program, there was also time for community experiences: on Friday evening, participants attended a dinner combined with a wine tasting, supported by honorary consul Péter Tamás, while on Saturday they explored the cultural heritage of the Kalotaszeg region. The event served as an important meeting point for both local and Hungary-based professionals.
