The conference held between October 4–6, 2019 focused on current issues in the modern management of diabetes, with special attention given to gestational diabetes, insulin pump therapy, and the relationship between sports and diabetes. During the program, participants gained a comprehensive overview of the latest treatment guidelines, the specific characteristics of insulin resistance in prenatal care, and experiences with the use of the FreeStyle Libre sensor in pregnant women. Practical skills development was supported by a Medtronic workshop, while the evening folk dance event strengthened the sense of community.

In the following days, topics included the current challenges of diabetic nephropathy and neuropathy, the effectiveness of metformin in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and diabetes-related bone disorders. On the closing day of the event, experience-based therapies used in chronic diseases and experiences with a new type of insulin treatment, Fiasp therapy, were brought into focus. In addition to presenting the latest research findings, the conference aimed to promote professional dialogue and the exchange of experience.
