We held our successful training on September 6, 2024, which exceeded participants’ expectations. The goal of the program was to help professionals working with chronic patients to enhance patient cooperation.
The Szent Balázs Foundation also participated in the “Egészségforgatag” 2024 at the invitation of Gedeon Richter Romania. Our aim was to raise awareness about the risks of hypertension and diabetes. During the programme, participants received free blood pressure and blood glucose screenings.
“Really medicine? How much is that much?” (Our medicine-taking habits.) visitors to the “Vibekoli” tent were treated to an interesting presentation and discussion. We thank Gedeon Richter and dr. The exciting performance for Zsófia Germán Salló!
We’ve wrapped up a fulfilling and successful school year at the St. Blaise Foundation! Together with our volunteers, we implemented numerous valuable programs: organized a conference, held preventive sessions in four schools, assisted in a nursing home in Târgu Mureș by helping with caregiving duties and bringing smiles to the residents’ faces. Additionally, through our “More to Tell” evenings, we hosted discussions on various topics.
The 4th Diabetologival Symposium of Transilvania successfully took place from June 7-9, 2024, in Sztána. We had a substantial conference with interesting and much-needed presentations.
Last school year, we conducted prevention sessions in four schools in Târgu Mureș. Our volunteers held interactive classes for students on topics such as healthy lifestyle, sex education, drug prevention, basic resuscitation, and first aid.
On May 11, 2024, our foundation participated in the 21st “Together for the Community” civil organizations fair, where 31 civil organizations were represented. Our staff was accompanied by three enthusiastic volunteers who helped our activities and introduced our work to the visitors.
From February 16 to 18, we organized the “Hidden Dimensions Conference” in Târgu Mureș at the Palace of Culture. To properly perceive an object in space, we need to see it in three dimensions. The same applies to concepts: the more precisely we want to understand them, the more perspectives we need to consider.
