We organize medical evenings and offer volunteer opportunities for university students. They can participate in school health education programs, volunteer patient care, as well as conference organization during their studies.
Programs for University Students
School Health Education Training
We believe that knowledge of a healthy lifestyle is every student’s right and that education in this area is crucial for future generations.
Our professionals train medical students to conduct preventive classes in schools.
We believe that peer education is extremely effective. Medical students, who are closer in age to the students, can establish strong and positive connections with them, more effectively shaping the students’ attitudes towards a healthy lifestyle.
At our annual training sessions, we provide medical students with the opportunity to gain expertise in various topics. These topics include: healthy lifestyle, sexual education, basic resuscitation, and drug prevention.
Volunteer Caregiver Training
The aim of the Volunteer Caregiver Training is to create a community dedicated to helping those who suffer and consciously engaging in healing activities. Such a community addresses one of the main issues in Romanian healthcare: inadequate care.
We welcome medical students and young people studying healthcare to join the training.
The program has a dual purpose: improving the quality of care within institutions and creating a community that feels a vocation for helping those in need and consciously engaging in healing activities.
Medical Evenings
Since 2012, the foundation has been regularly organizing Additional Medical Evenings, where the most current topics in the medical profession and the challenges of everyday tasks are discussed, such as:
- Doctor-patient relationship,
- Delivering bad news,
- Burnout,
- Ethical decisions,
- Faith in healing,
- Issues of emigration.
Our target audience includes doctors, medical students, healthcare professionals and helping professionals.
This initiative is beneficial because it addresses specific problems, brings members of the target audience together through regular meetings and joint discussions, and forms them into a community where they mutually help and support each other.
Conference Organization
For our annual multidisciplinary conference, we invite university students who are eager to take an active role in organizing such a large-scale event.
