The Szent Balázs Foundation participated once again in the Civil Organizations Fair, held on Saturday, May 10, at the Rose Square in Târgu Mureș. The event aimed to provide a platform for civil organizations to introduce themselves and establish direct contact with the community. Our foundation’s booth focused on the themes of healthy lifestyle and prevention.
Our Activities
My Superpower Wall
Visitors were invited to take part in a reflective activity: they were asked to describe a positive habit, attitude, or decision they consider their own “superpower” for living a healthy life. By the end of the day, these contributions created a colorful and inspiring wall.
Health Quiz
Our interactive quiz, made up of 20 questions, helped expand knowledge about healthy living. According to participant feedback, the discussions sparked by the questions were insightful and covered topics like nutrition, sleep, physical activity, and adolescent changes.
True or False?
Participants placed lifestyle-related statements on a corkboard, labeling them as either true or false. This game provided a great foundation for further conversations, clarifications, and debunking of common myths.
Draw a Tip
From a jar, visitors could draw practical tips offering guidance on mindful eating, shaping daily habits, and making health-conscious choices. Many participants took these tips home for further reflection.
BLS Demonstration
We offered a Basic Life Support (BLS) demonstration, where visitors learned the steps of recognizing unconsciousness and providing immediate help.
Children’s Programs
For the younger visitors, we shared the basics of a healthy lifestyle in a playful way. In our “Dreamy Aron” game, we explored good sleeping habits, and with the “Healthy or Sick Animal” game, we introduced the concepts of health and illness.
We would like to thank all visitors for their interest and participation, and express our gratitude to our volunteers for their dedicated work. We hope the thoughts and experiences shared during the day will have a lasting impact on the members of our community.
