The 4th Diabetologival Symposium of Transilvania successfully took place from June 7-9, 2024, in Sztána. We had a substantial conference with interesting and much-needed presentations. During the meeting, topics such as childhood autoimmune disorders, the relationship between gut flora and diabetes, the use of insulin pumps and sensors, various types of MODY, gestational diabetes, infertility and diabetes, experiences from diabetes camps for children, and many more were discussed. We concluded our second day with an excursion to Kőrösfő, considered one of the gems of Kalotaszeg, and to a nearby small, idyllic village, Kispetri, where we also experienced the hospitality of the locals. Additionally, we had the chance to rekindle old friendships and professional connections.
