Just as spatial perception of an object requires seeing it in three dimensions, the true understanding of concepts also demands multiple perspectives. During the conference, we explored the complex, multidimensional nature of health and illness.
According to the World Health Organization, these are not merely physical conditions, but also mental and social states, shaped through numerous interactions. Beyond pathomechanisms, factors such as social patterns, psychological trauma, and the presence of distress also influence the course of illness.
Throughout the event, we aimed to offer a more nuanced understanding of disease by presenting practical examples and engaging in the exchange of diverse viewpoints. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who took part in this shared reflection.
