The 6th edition of the Transylvanian Diabetology Symposium will take place between June 19–21, 2026, in the village of Sânvăsii, Mureș County, with the participation of specialist physicians and residents from Romania and Hungary. The scientific conference will focus on the neuropsychological aspects of diabetes and modern treatment options, with special attention to diabetes-related distress, technological innovations (CGMS, insulin pumps), oncological correlations, and various aspects of neuropathy.
Preliminary program of the event (modules last approximately 4 hours):
• Module 1: Diabetes distress – lectures and workshop. Dementia in diabetic patients
• Module 2: CGMS and insulin pump – lectures, workshop, interactive demonstrations
• Module 3: Oncology and diabetes mellitus
• Module 4: Diabetic neuropathy – various aspects. ENG demonstrations
• Module 5: Modern treatment practice – implementation of current recommendations
The event is organized by the Saint Blaise Foundation in collaboration with the Harghita College of Physicians and will be accredited with CME credits.
