One of the most exciting discoveries in recent years in the field of medicine is that the microbiome—the collection of microorganisms living in and on us—influences both our health and the development of diseases. At the same time, this area is considered a “gray zone,” with many unknowns or even mythicized and overemphasized factors.

The 2025 annual multidisciplinary conference of the Saint Balázs Foundation will focus on the complex relationship between humans and the microorganisms living alongside them. Its goal is to provide, with the help of renowned international and national speakers, a colorful, realistic, and objective overview of our current knowledge on the subject.

Date: February 21-23, 2025
Location: Târgu Mureș, Palace of Culture

The entire conference program will be presented in Hungarian.

Details about the conference program and registration will be announced soon!
