What should children play with? How should we praise them well? How can we explain things in a way that does not go beyond their understanding, yet does not distort reality either? This book provides concrete, playful, and practical tips for both parents and educators. It highlights connections and the importance of everyday \u2018rituals,\u2019 as well as the \u2018safety valve function\u2019 of parent\u2013child conversations.
